Church Elders

We are here to serve you. If you are in need of anything please seek out one of our elders, even if it is simply to direct you to the rest rooms. To see who the church elder’s are please Click Here. If you are in need of prayer for any reason, or you would just like someone to agree with you in prayer - we would consider it a privilege to do that with you.

James 5:14-16  Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much

Our Worship Style

We are contemporary in our worship. We use background worship music (as we presently do not have a worship team) along with a worship leader - Jesse Vendt. Pastor Jim will usually open the service with a welcome and prayer. You may worship in any way you feel comfortable. You will see people standing or sitting. You may see people raising their hands or clapping to the music. You may hear people shouting hallelujah or Praise the Lord. You may hear someone praying or singing in tongues. At times, someone feels they have a word from the Lord to share with the body. You may see someone go over to another person and pray for them. We feel it is important to be lead by the Holy Spirit in everything we do. Although we are Spirit-led we do things in an orderly fashion.

Communion and Offering

After worship, pastor Jim will instruct the body concerning communion. You will see a table set upfront to the right. We all come forward to drop our tithe in the offering plate and then pick up the communion elements. … If it is your first time with us - Welcome! We ask that you please fill out the Communication Card and drop it in the offering plate as you pass by. Or if you choose you may fill it out here online by continuing to the bottom of this page … We will all return to our seat and take communion together. Pastor Jim will lead us in the taking of communion. After communion, pastor Jim will share any relevant announcements before he begins to preach

Sermon

Pastor Jim’s notes are available so that you may follow along with the message. There may be slides posted on the screen while pastor Jim is preaching. Pastor Jim encourages us to review the sermon notes along with watching the sermon on the church You Tube page during the week. The purpose is to ask the Holy Spirit for personal revelation so that we may apply the truths we have gained from the message and Spirit. Our goal is to grow in maturity and to be transformed by the renewing of our mind so that we may be faithful and effective ambassadors for Christ

End of Service

At the end of the sermon we typically do not have what the church world calls an alter call. But be assured if you need to talk or need prayer, pastor Jim along with the elders are available. Coffee and goodies are available so feel free to hang out and chat.
