ABOUT

New to DCC

Welcome! We know visiting a new church for the first time can feel a little intimidating, so we'd like to give you a quick idea of what to expect when you arrive at DCC.

The first thing you'll notice is that we're tucked away on a quiet side street. Aside from our sign and large front windows, the building blends into the neighborhood and feels more like a home than a traditional church. That's intentional. We believe church is more than a building—it's a family gathered around the presence of God.

We don't have a parking lot. Street parking is available directly in front of the church and along Allison Street. If you park on Dunklee Street, please be mindful of nearby driveways, especially during the winter months.

When you walk through the front door, the sanctuary is immediately to your right. Sit wherever you'd like—there's no assigned seating. You'll quickly notice the room feels more like a living room than a formal sanctuary. We want everyone to feel relaxed and at home.

Our gathering begins with the reading of Scripture, followed by a time of worship. We usually sing four or five songs, but we're committed to following the leading of the Holy Spirit rather than a strict schedule.

Everyone expresses worship differently. Some stand, some remain seated, some raise their hands, and others quietly reflect. We simply encourage people to worship the Lord in a way that is genuine and meaningful to them.

Following worship, Apostle Jim shares what the Lord has placed on his heart during that time. We then come forward together to present our offerings and receive communion. (If this is your first visit, simply follow along with everyone else.) After communion, there is an opportunity for anyone who would like to share a testimony of what God has done during the week.

The morning concludes with the preaching of God's Word, followed by a closing prayer.

While we don't have a traditional altar call, there is always room for personal ministry. If you'd like someone to pray with you or if you'd simply like to spend some quiet time in the Lord's presence, you're welcome to come to the front near the communion table after the service. Apostle Jim and our ministry leaders are always available to pray with you.

If you have any questions before your visit, please don't hesitate to contact us. We'd be honored to welcome you and look forward to meeting you.

What We Believe

Our foundational beliefs — drawn from Scripture, illuminated by the Spirit, and expressed through a fivefold Ekklesia of oneness in Christ.

Statement of Faith

What We Believe About Today’s Issues

Every generation faces questions that test truth, identity, and courage. We believe that the Spirit of God still speaks to His Ekklesia, revealing how eternal Kingdom principles apply within the shifting tides of culture. These papers are not political manifestos but prophetic clarifications—voices of conviction anchored in Scripture and breathed by the Spirit of Truth.

Destiny Christian Church stands as a Five-fold Kingdom Community devoted to manifesting the life of Christ in every sphere of society. We affirm that biblical truth is timeless, that conscience and worship belong to God alone, and that righteousness, mercy, and justice flow from His throne—not from human institutions.

In these writings we address key issues of our day—life, justice, marriage, identity, and liberty—not with any hostility towards humanity, but with loving hope for its redemption. Our aim is to call the remnant to live as new-creation beings, walking in oneness with the Father, revealing His image, and demonstrating His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
